Manolo Logroño Sensei

Manolo Sensei has been practicing Aikido for more than 20 years. He trained in Gandía and Torrent with Gonzalo Carratala Sensei until he met Ezequiel Zayas Sensei. Under the direction of Iwagaki Sensei Manolo Sensei received his Shodan from the Spanish Aikido Federation. Upon Ezequiel Zayas Sensei’s departure, Manolo became the new Sensei of Aikido Gandía. When Manolo met Alec Corper Sensei it was decided that the Gandía dojo would become an official branch of Itten Suginami Dojo. In time Manolo had the opportunity to meet and train under Kato Sensei, who eventually awarded Manolo the ranks of Shodan, Nidan and Sandan. Currently, Manolo Sensei is the Director of Itten Suginami Aikido Gandía.
